Please immediately send an email to the County Commissioners asking them to

VOTE NO

to Proposed Business Park changes

Dear stayTRU Members,

People in your district and throughout Sarasota County are increasingly distressed by overdevelopment. Developers are now petitioning the County Commissioners to allow even more COMMERCIAL and INDUSTRIAL development on Fruitville both east and west of Tatum Ridge. They want MORE density, HIGHER Buildings, LESS frontage on SMALLER parcels.

stayTRU is very opposed to this proposal. Please show the Commissioners how we feel! All five Commissioners have listened carefully to stayTRU for more than a year. Our voice - YOUR voice - matters.

The Commissioners are discussing this request on Tuesday.

So, please, immediately send an email to  commissioners@scgov.net , info@staytru.org

Use the template below to express your concern and please also forward this request to SRQ friends and family - this affects Residents along Fruitvillle, Bee Ridge, Clark, etc.

Subject: Don’t Advance the EDC requests

Dear Commissioners,

A business park belongs in a planned industrial area, not scattered as 2-acre lots along a rural road.

Loosening the acreage and height rules is the wrong direction, and your constituents are tired of overdevelopment.

Please vote no.
